Newmarket Heights Annual Environment Day  

The 19th annual Envirionment day held May 15 2010 was a resounding success. Residents spring cleaned their basements and the volunteers collected and sorted the material. The town supplied the waste trucks,bins and blue boxes were on sale.We didn't find any valuable antiques, but some strange items were collected.

"Bikes for Africa" were collected at our 19th environment day Larry Blight and some of the the bicycles that were collected. The bicycles will be repaired and refurbishing and then shipment to Africa.We were delighted with the number of bicycles that were collected

 
"Helmets for Kids" Safety program provides free bicycle helemts for children. The program is sponsored by McLeish Orlando Law firm in Toronto.
